SPORTS MEET 2022 – DISPLAY OF ZEAL AND FERVOR

Bhavan’s Lloyds Vidya Niketan, Wardha celebrated the Annual Sports Meet 2022 on 22nd and 23rd December 2022 amidst great mirth and verve. The school ground rimmed with flags reverberating with the sound of cheers.

Veneration of sportsmanship was the essence of the most awaited event of the school. The event was graced by Mr.Vijoy Kumar, COO Uttam Steel Complex, Wardha as the Chief Guest, Mr. R.K.Sharma, Head HR and Admin,Wardha Steel Complex,Mr. S.N. Patil, Plant Head,Uttam Value Steel, Mr.R.P.Gupta,Chief Finance Officer, Mr. Nitin Ghodake,Plant Head IPPL, as the Guest of Honour and Mr.Naresh Banghade as the Judge for March Past.The momentous day commenced with the Sarva Dharma Prayer by the choir group followed by the welcoming of guests by the Principal and Student’s council members.

The spectacular and well synchronized March Past by the NCC troop and the four house students rendered the parents, other spectators awestruck. The March Past was also accompanied by the stirring marching music by the band troop. To enliven the sports event the Olympic Torch was lit. The Principal Miss.Kirti Mishra shared a brief report of the school’s activities and achievements.This was entailed by the declaration of the Sports Meet open by the Chief Guest Mr.Vijoy Kumar.

A display of precision,involving mass student participation splattered on the field a riot of hues and vibrance. Various drills followed by track events performed by the students was a treat to the eyes,the spectators were left flabbergasted with the expertise, agility and enthusiasm of the participants.The students challenged themselves to attempt a variety of sprints and relays where competitiveness among the students soared high. The events for parents were also organized, the zealous parents participated enthusiastically in large numbers.

The Chief Guest Mr.Vijoy Kumar,in his address said that sports infuses teamwork and makes one learn etiquettes for life. He also emphasized the importance of discipline and motivated students to uphold sportsmanship. He appreciated the efforts of the school for providing a platform to inculcate sportsman spirit and promote holistic development in students.

The event was filled with zeal, sportsman spirit and memories to cherish.
