Gurupurnima Celebration Report (10 July 2025)

The auspicious occasion of Gurupurnima was celebrated with great devotion and enthusiasm in our school. This special event, led by the students of Class IX, beautifully reflected the significance of honoring our teachers and spiritual guides.

A highlight of the celebration was a thought-provoking skit on Sant Meerabai, performed by the students. The skit showcased the inspiring story of how Sant Ravidas guided Meerabai, the Rajput princess, initiating her into the path of spirituality and devotion. Through powerful performances, the drama depicted their unique bond — a symbol of the Bhakti movement that emphasized breaking social barriers in the quest for divine connection and spiritual growth.

The audience was further captivated by a soulful song “Naman Naman Sau Bar Naman…” rendered melodiously by the school choir, which added to the devotional atmosphere of the program.

The celebration served as a meaningful reminder of the timeless values of devotion, humility, and respect for one’s mentors. It was indeed a memorable day that left everyone inspired and spiritually enriched.
