Bhavan’s Lloyds Vidya Niketan, Wardha organised Munshi Memorial Science Talk, “Eureka” on 13th January, 2025 which was a resounding success to develop the natural curiosity and inventiveness among students to quench their thirst of creativity on the way of expansion of science and technology for accomplishing major goals of self-reliance and socio-ecological development.
The competition is organised every year to honour the birth anniversary of the youth icon of the era, Swami Vivekananda and to pay rich tribute to the founder of Bhartiya Vidya Bhavan’s Kulpati K. M. Munshiji.
Dr. Tarak Kate a renowned scientist and philanthropist, Joint Director of the Centre of Science for villages, Wardha was the Chief Guest for the Inaugural session along with Shri. R. K. Sharma Sir, Head-HR, Evonith Steel Complex, Wardha and a panel of eminent jury members. Dr. Gopal Paliwal, Director, Centre for Bee Development, Wardha adorned the chair for the Valedictory Function along with Shri. Ratna Prasad, C.O.O of Evonith Steel Ltd, Wardha as the Presiding Chair and Mr. Nitin Ghodake, Plant Head of IPPL, Wardha as the guest of honour.
The esteemed judges for the event were :Dr. Pooja Batra. (Professor, Dept of Surgery, JNMC, DMIHER, Sawangi, Wardha) :Dr. Richa Pandit, practising Dental surgeon: Dr. Ashwini Kalantri, ( Professor in Community Medicine at MGMIS) :Dr. KoyalKela, (Consulting Digital Care Analyst) amongst them two of them were the alumnis of the school.
The judges, appreciated the learning and efforts of the students and further added that such events foster fundamental growth and act as a development booster.
The dignitaries congratulated the participants and appreciated the efforts of the school towards incepting the essence of creativity.
The programme concluded with Vote of Thanks and National Anthem. The School Principal, Ms. Kirti Mishra, Staff and students worked relentlessly for the success of the programme.
