BHARATIYA VIDYA BHAVAN’S LLOYDS VIDYA NIKETAN HOSTS ANNUAL SPORTS MEET 2024-25 WITH UNPARALLELED ENTHUSIASM AND SPLENDOR

Bhavan’s Lloyds Vidya Niketan, Wardha celebrated the Annual Sports Meet 2024-25on 23rd and 24th December 2024 amidst great verve. The momentous day commenced with the Sarva Dharma Prayer by the choir followed by the welcoming of guests by the Principal and Student council members.

The event was honored by the presence of Shri Anurag Jain, Superintendent of Police, Wardha, as the Chief Guest. Esteemed dignitaries, including Shri. R. K. Sharma, Head HR and Admin, Wardha Steel Complex, Shri. Ratna Prasad, C.O.O., Evonith Steel Ltd., Shri. S. N. Patil, Plant Head, EVSL, Madam Padmini Jog, Committee member Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan graced the occasion as Guests of Honour. The March Past competition was adjudicated by Subhedar Ravindra Singh adding to the prestige of the day.

The March Past by NCC troop was accompanied by the stirring marching music by the band troop. To enliven the sports event the Olympic Torch was lit followed by Oath taking ceremony. This was entailed by the declaration of the Sports Meet open by the Chief Guest Shri. Anurag Jain. The Principal Miss. Kirti Mishra and a student representative Mast. Yuvraj Singh shared a brief report of the school’s activities and achievements.

A series of events, including drills, sprints and relays, saw students pushing their limits, displaying agility, determination, and an unyielding spirit of competition.

In his inspiring address, Shri Anurag Jain lauded the school for fostering teamwork, discipline, and resilience through sports.

In her encouraging address, Madam Padmini Jog highlighted the profound significance of Yog or yoga in fostering inner calm and tranquility.

The Annual Sports Meet 2024-25a resounding success, concluded with Bhavan’s anthem leaving behind a treasure trove of memories for all, engraved in the hearts of participants and spectators alike.
