‘BASANT’ – A Joyful Celebration of Talent and Spring

Bhavan’s Lloyds Vidya Niketan, Wardha, hosted its Annual Function ‘BASANT’, a special cultural event showcasing the talent of Pre-Primary students. The event, named ‘Basant’ to mark the onset of spring, was a delightful celebration of music, dance, and creativity, beautifully brought to life by the budding stars under the dedicated guidance of their teachers.

The event was graced by Mr. Ratna Prasad (COO, Evonith Steel Ltd.) and Mr. S. N. Patil (Plant Head, Evonith Value Steel Ltd.) as Guests of Honour.

The event unfolded beautifully, symbolizing the various seasons of life through captivating performances – Shubh Din Aayo Re, Geetopadesh, Euphoria and Boshonter, A Beautiful Day and Giggly Grooves ,The heartfelt performance

Dedicated to Parents, The butterfly’s journey , Gatha Shourya Veeron Ki, Electric Elegance etc.

A highlight of the evening was the unveiling of the children’s magazine, “Musings”, featuring creative Deshmukh the students from Class VI-VIII : Ovee Gaidhane, Om Gaidhane, Shourya Patel, Aalhad Ahirrao, Aaradhy Ahirrao and Kartikey Deshmukh. This magazine is available for the readers on the school’s website.

The event concluded with a Vote of Thanks, followed by the National Anthem, leaving the audience with cherished memories of an enchanting evening.

‘BASANT’ truly celebrated the spirit of childhood, creativity, and the beauty of spring, making it a memorable occasion for all.
