Elections for Student’s Council – 10th July 2026

The Student Council Elections provided students with an authentic experience of democratic participation. The process encouraged learners to understand the importance of choice, representation, responsibility and accountability. It provided aspiring student leaders with a platform to demonstrate their leadership qualities while enabling the student community to participate actively in the decision-making process.

The SST Department conducted the Student Council Election on 10th July 2026 to provide students with a practical understanding of the democratic process. Students cast their votes through an online voting application/Google Form, giving them a real-life experience of participating in an election. The activity helped students understand the importance of voting, making informed choices, democratic participation and responsible citizenship.
