Van Mahotsav Celebration (1st – 7th July 2025) at BLVN School

Van Mahotsav, the brainchild of our visionary Founder Shri K. M. Munshi, was celebrated with great enthusiasm and commitment at BLVN from 1st to 7th July. The week was marked by various activities aimed at promoting environmental awareness and encouraging students to contribute to a greener planet.

Tree Plantation Drive:

Throughout the week, students from both primary and higher classes actively participated in a plantation drive within the school premises. They planted saplings of Neem, Karanj, and Mango—trees known for their ecological and medicinal value. These trees were planted at various locations around the school to enhance greenery and improve air quality.

Pre-Primary Initiative:

The youngest members of our school, the pre-primary students, also joined in the spirit of Van Mahotsav by planting rose plants around the playground. Their goal is to create a beautiful rose bed, and what better time to begin this project than during the refreshing and nurturing monsoon season?

Environmental Rally:

To spread awareness about the importance of trees and conservation, a rally was organized in the vicinity of the school. Students participated with slogans and placards, encouraging the local community to protect and plant more trees.

Herbal Garden Project:

Adding another feather to the cap, BLVN has embarked on the creation of a Herbal Garden within the campus. Saplings of medicinal plants such as Haldi (Turmeric), Pudina (Mint), and Ginger were planted. This initiative aims to educate students about the importance and uses of herbal plants in daily life and promote sustainable living.

Overall Van Mahotsav Week at BLVN was a meaningful blend of learning and action. Through these activities, students gained hands-on experience and developed a deeper understanding of environmental conservation. The school remains committed to nurturing eco-conscious future citizens.
