Little Warkaris, Big Devotion: A Divine Journey of Faith and Culture (Aashadi Ekadashi celebration)

The premises came alive with devotion, joy, and vibrant colours as our little learners celebrated Aashadhi Ekadashi with great enthusiasm on 25th July 2026. The celebration beautifully showcased the rich heritage of Maharashtra and the spirit of the Wari tradition, where thousands of devotees walk together with unwavering faith towards the holy town of Pandharpur.

The tiny tots of the pre-primary section transformed into divine and inspiring characters, creating a truly spiritual atmosphere. Children portrayed revered saints including SantDnyaneshwarMaharaj, SantTukaramMaharaj, SantNamdevMaharaj, SantEknathMaharaj, SantChokhamela, SantJanabai, SantMuktabai, SantSavata Mali, Sant Gora Kumbhar, SantKanhopatra, SantSopandev, and SantMeerabai. Little learners also beautifully represented Lord Vitthal and Goddess Rukmini, symbolising faith, love, and divine blessings.

Dressed as enthusiastic Warkaris, the children carried saffron flags, wore traditional white attire, and joyfully recreated the spirit of the sacred pilgrimage. The rhythmic sounds of taal and mridang, devotional songs, and cheerful chants filled the campus with positivity and devotion. Through role play, music, movement, and cultural expression, children experienced the values of togetherness, compassion, and gratitude while connecting with India’s rich spiritual heritage.
